  • Rental orders may be possible after the "order by" date. Please contact us.
  • Orders will be delivered to your stateroom and picked up from the ship
  • Rental period is per cruise. For back-to-back cruise rentals please contact us to arrange to keep the rentals for the full duration.


Rental Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation prior to the "order by" date: Full refund
  • Cancellation after the "order by" date: No rental refund.
  • No Refund for any/all rentals after they have been delivered to the ship, even if they are unopened / unused / returned to a staff member.
  • If your trip is interrupted or cancelled for any reason after the order by deadline, we highly encourage that you contact your travel insurance provider to recover the rental fees.


Damage Deposit

  • Damage Fee will be applied to the credit card used to rent boots, waterproof pants and/or trekking poles. If any of the gear is not returned or returned damaged the following rates apply: Boots: US$100, Pants: US$60, Poles: US$70

    Expedition Stretch, Gloves, Hat and Neck Gaiter. (Roundtrip Ushuaia sailings) Everything you need to go with your complimentary items: Expedition jacket (yours to keep), insulator layer, waterproof pants, and boots.

    About Knee-High Rental Boots

    Insulated boots are bulky and weigh between 4.5 lbs / 2.5 kgs to 6 pounds / 2.73 kgs. By renting boots, you are guaranteed to have the best boot to stay warm and dry while gaining space in your luggage. Our comfortable, insulated boots are flexible, durable and comfort rated to - 40 F / -40 C so your feet stay warm. Rest assured, all boots are sanitized after each rental using products that have been proven to work in U.S. high-end ski resort rentals.


    About Waterproof Pants and Trekking Poles

    Waterproof pants are also essential to stay protected from the elements. Our rental pants are waterproof and breathable. Trekking poles offer stability while walking ashore and collapse down to 25.6 in / 65 cm.
